Prof. (Dr.) Narpinder SinghVice Chancellor, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University)

Message from the Desk of Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Narpinder Singh

Graphic Era (Deemed-to-be-University) has marked for itself an open circumference where teaching and research excellence transfuse across the limitless bounds-thanks to the vision of the Founder, Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala, who has served the teaching profession with alacrity for more than three decades till now and the relentless pursuit towards excellence continues unabated. Pitching itself against the values of excellence, commitment, innovation and research, societal responsiveness and inclusiveness, the University has demonstrated a judicious mix of capacity-capability-ingenuity in its penchant for ensuring one of the best internationally-acclaimed teaching-learning processes in the country.

Graphic Era (Deemed-to-be-University) provides a congenial atmosphere for learning with research and innovation with its state-of-the-art infrastructure including the impetus upon nurturing a holistic personality of the students with extra-curricular activities. As a home to the native as also the international students, the University serves as a melting pot for the cultural assimilation and information exchange. With its drive upon instilling an ethical and sensitive bent of mind, the teaching-learning process is intertwined with the eventual aim of “Transforming Dreams into Reality” such that the “global” leaders with an “Indian visage” who are futuristic and indomitable rise and shine across their preferred career trajectories.

Excellence-oriented teaching-learning process is facilitated via curriculum upgrade in line with the international benchmarks that are job market oriented; adoption of a “question-by-example” approach wherein the students are encouraged to showcase their creative outputs by hitting at the normative dogmas and establishing a new order based on inquisitive learning and innovation; and, focus on a competitive-cooperative learning cycle wherein the competition with self serves as an add-on to the team-building exercises for consistent and continuous self-improvement and reflection to create history in the public and private spheres.

Academic collaborations with a focus on research and innovation are the pillars of the University. Industry-academics unity is witnessed in the University’s collaborative ties with the global leaders like IBM, Tata Technologies Ltd., Sapient, Emerson Automated Solutions, CGG, Adobe, Infosys, Steinbeis Academy, etc. Besides, the academic exchange initiatives with the international varsities of the US, UK, France, Germany, Israel, The Netherlands, Malaysia, etc. bolster the spirit of learning-by-fusion such that the East and the West co-mingle into a coalesce.

With its immaculate scorecard ratings across the placement metrics, Graphic Era (Deemed-to-be University) has been a preferred destination for the corporate giants like Apple, Microsoft, Google, WIPRO, Capgemini, IBM, Amazon, HSBC, Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture, Samsung, Infosys, TCS, ADOBE, Tata Technologies Ltd. and many others. Our students have brought laurels to the University with their passion and dedication at the work places. Our students’ bragging rights over their commendable achievements make us stand tall in the higher education sector and lend us wings to soar higher and higher.

With an alumni base crossing the 22000 mark, there is much more to come! The journey of learning is ever-evolving and our path is dotted with the ideals of paving the runway for the accomplished graduates from the gateways of this University.
