Learning Output and Competencies

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE:

The core concepts and methods from ecological and natural sciences will help in solving environmental problems. The students will be able to examine complex environmental issues from a problem-oriented, interdisciplinary perspective, and will be able to analyze cross-cultural, and historical context of environmental issues and the links between human and natural systems. They will be able to design systems concepts and methodologies to analyze and understand interactions between socio-economic processes and build proficiency in quantitative methods, qualitative analysis, critical thinking, and written and oral communication needed to conduct high-level work as interdisciplinary scholars and/or practitioners.

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE:

Waste water purification, Urban ecosystem restoration, Bioremediation, Nature based environmental technologies, Heavy metal assessment and Remediation in waste water, soil and ash, Waste water treatment, Mycology treatment in waste water, Ecorestoration, Forest Ecology and Environment.

PHYSICS:

Material Science ( Nanotechnology, Energy materials and Raman Spectroscopy) and Atmospheric Physics & Space Physics ( Numerical Modelling)
