Dr. Mukesh Kumar is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India. He received Master of Philosophy Degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, and Ph.D. Degree from HNB Garhwal (a Central University), Srinagar, India. He has teaching experience of more than 18 years. His fields of specialization are Operations Research and Mathematical Modelling. He has published more than thirty-five research papers in reputed journals and presented many papers in national and international conferences. He has guided three Ph.D. Students in the field of operations research and Mathematical modelling. He is also on the editorial board of many journals and a reviewer of many journals like Science direct, Springer, Inder science, etc. He authored nine text books for Engineering and Science students, viz. “Engineering Mathematics for Semesters I and II” and “Engineering Mathematics for Semesters III and IV” published with McGraw-Hill Education, etc.
