Dr Kunwar Vikram obtained his MSc degree from Purvanchal University, Jaunpur and received his PhD degree from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2010. During PhD he studied temperature dependent phase transitions in liquid crystalline systems by Raman spectroscopy. After PhD, Dr Vikram has worked as a post-doctoral fellow in Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECERI) Karaikudi, Tamlinadu, Kangwon National University, S. Korea and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Dr. Kunwar Vikram has been an active researcher since 2005. He has published more than 30 research papers in internationally reputed journals. His h-index is 12 (2024). During last 12 years he has made significant research contribution in the field of Raman spectroscopy. He has vast experience in the field Raman spectroscopy, Surface enhanced resonance Raman spectroscopy (SERS), Tip-enhanced resonance Raman spectroscopy (TERS), IR spectroscopy and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. He has done DFT based quantum chemical calculations for several molecular systems using Gaussian programme package. He is also working in the field of synthesis of functional materials for the several applications. He has worked on several liquid crystalline systems, polymers, bio-molecules, ionic liquids, carbon allotropes, layered materials (TMDs, MAXene etc). He has presented/ attended more than 20 national and international conferences.
