Dr. Gupta is a young researcher engaged in deciphering fungal pathogenesis particularly in biofilm using molecular and omics techniques. The key interest is in metabolomic fingerprint study to find biochemical markers. Further, she is also committed in disintegrating the fungal biofilm structures using nanotechnology tools. Dr. Gupta has 6 years of post-doctoral experience from IIT Roorkee. She has published 23 original research articles, 03 review article, 01 National Patent awarded and 05 Book chapters where she served both as a first and/or corresponding author. Dr. Gupta is Review Editor of Biofilms, Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology, and invited reviewer of international scientific journals like, Scientific Reports, Frontiers, RSC, Microbial Biotechnology (Wiley), Heliyon (Cell Press), Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal (Elsevier), etc.
