He is a Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He has joined the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Graphic Era Institute of Technology as a Lecturer in 2005. He has a vast experience in the area of teaching and research. He has worked as a faculty member for around nineteen years and has taught twenty different courses to B.Tech./ M.Tech./ Ph.D. students. He has qualified GATE several times. He has published several research papers in various International journals. His research interests include wireless signal propagation over fading channels, with special emphasis on OFDM, Receiver diversity, MIMO. He has done extensive and illustrious work in these parts and published numerous research papers in the refereed journal, including, Wireless Personal Communications (Springer), Telecommunication Systems (Springer), Inderscience. He received research excellence award from GEU several times.
He organizes several conferences. He is an active reviewer of various refereed journals. Additionally, in view of his recent substantial creative contribution in the area of Wireless Communication, he has been invited as a guest speaker in various renowned organizations. He is Editorial Board member of IJASSN Journal.
