Dr. Kaushal Kumar received a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, and an M.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. Dr. Kumar’s primary research interest lies in the field of nano-scale electronic devices such as MOSFET, TFET, and Junctionless TFET. His research journey includes a remarkable achievement: he got the Best Paper award for an IEEE conference paper and was nominated for the Research Excellence Award 2024 for outstanding research. Dr. Kaushal is currently working as an Assistant Professor with Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India. He has more than 14 years of teaching experience and has published more than 30 research papers in refereed journals like Silicon (Impact Factor: 3.4), AEU Journal (Impact Factor: 3.2), Applied Physics A (Impact Factor:2.7), Microelectronics Journal (Impact Factor: 2.2), Journal of Electronics Material (Impact Factor: 2.1), etc. as well as reviewer of many international journals and conferences. His diverse experiences and commitment to excellence position him as an asset to the academic and research community, contributing significantly to the advancements in energy storage materials for microelectronics applications.
