Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma is working as Professor in Graphic Era University, Dehradun. He is a dynamic teacher, professional mentor and coach with a rich experience of 22+ years in engineering education. Prof. Sharma is doctorate from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra and certified for CMI level 5 in Management & Leadership from Chartered Management Institute, UK.
He has received several awards and accolades including best teacher, Gwalior Gaurav, Best Dean of the year 2019, 20, Distinguished leader in engineering 2018, Engineering Excellence award 2020, and won national design contest by 3D PLM software (Dassault Systems), Pune in professor category.
Prof. Sharma has been involved with professional project evaluation at ministry of MSME, and had several student project grants in India. With publications in international journal and conferences of repute, he delivered several keynote addresses, invited talks in international conferences, seminars and workshops. He has been associated with national championships eg. BAJA SAEINDIA, SUPRASAEINDIA, Effi-cycle as faculty advisor, and Judge in ESVC, HVC, and Go-kart championships, Design consultant for DCS MSME and is Master trainer of ZED. He pioneered introducing the project based learning for the students of engineering and developed innovative teaching and learning aids. His interest areas include includes supply chain, Quality management, Product recall, Social Innovation, Industrial Engineering, Projects, Consultancies, Patents; Project based learning, effective online education, training, Innovation and team leading.
