Dr. Umesh Sharma is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Graphic Era (deemed to be University), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Before joining Graphic Era, he has around eight years of working experience in Academia, Industry & Research.

His major research interests include Sensor Array Signal Processing (RADAR/LIDAR/SONAR); Signal Detection and Parameter/Spectral/Channel Estimation; Signal Processing for Next-Generation Communication (6G and beyond), Integrated Sensing & Communication; Quantum Communication; Underwater Communication; Time-Series Analysis; Machine Learning. He has published various research articles in highly reputed journals and conferences.
