The highlight of the celebration was the special recognition extended by our esteemed President, Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala, to the families of martyrs who exemplify unparalleled courage and devotion to the nation. Among those honored were:
- Inspector B.S. Negi, for the supreme sacrifice made by his son, Martyr Squadron Leader Siddharth Negi.
- Inspector S.S. Bisht, for the ultimate bravery and dedication of his son, Martyr Major Chitresh Bisht.
- Nikhil Gurung, for the selfless dedication and heroic service of his late father, Martyr Mekh Gurung.
