During her academic journey Prior to her masters, Dr. Begum completed her undergraduate studies with a triple major in Biochemistry, Botany and Microbiology. This diverse educational background has provided her with broad understanding of various scientific disciplines and has been instrumental shaping her research approach. Dr. Begum Consistently demonstrated exceptional academic excellence. She completed her master’s degree in Botany, where she has secured the top position in her graduating class. Dr. Begum earned her Ph. D in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, and has received prestigious INSPIRE fellowship from Department of Science and technology where she conducted ground breaking research on the synthesis of Nanoparticles and their potential use in combating microbial infections.

Dr. Shabaaz Begum has specialization in Nanotechnology particularly focusing on the synthesis of Nanoparticles and their applications as nanoantibiotics. As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Begum continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of students. Her research expertise, combined with her passion for teaching, has made her influential figure in academia. She actively engages in collaboration research work and strives to bridge the gap between academia and industry to translate her scientific findings into real world applications.
