Visit to Slum Areas

 With a view to sensitize the youths towards the problem of slum dwellers Department of Humanities and Social sciences of Graphic Era Deemed to be University organised a slum visit at Nanda ki chowki Dehradun on 17th November 2022.. The aim of this visit was to experience humanity at practical grounds. A total number of 35 students enthusiastically participated in the event where they visualised the future of India living in slums. During this visit the students planned various activities for the small kids to make them joyful and interactive. The students and faculties divided themselves into two groups and performed various activities like singing dancing, doing mimicry, solving riddles and asking the educational objectives of children.. The children were very enthusiastic and there was no sign of nervousness. As a gesture .of kindness many gifts like snacks and study material were distributed among the children. This visit taught a message to all.
