Brief Description: The Department of Microbiology organized a Workshop with Hands-On Training on “Animal Cell Culture”. This workshop saw participation from thirty-one Ph.D. scholars across Microbiology, Food Technology, and Biotechnology. Participants engaged in maintaining cell lines individually and performed key experiments, including cell seeding, trypsinization, MTT assay, preparation of antibiotic stocks, and various calculations. This training proved invaluable for scholars focusing on drug toxicity, cell viability, and cancer research, enhancing their practical skills and knowledge in animal cell culture techniques.
