A gold medallist in M.Sc. from Banasthali Vidyapith Rajasthan, Dr. Manu Pant received her doctorate in Biotechnology from HNB Garhwal University (A Central University) and has previously worked as a research fellow at the prestigious Forest Research Institute (FRI) and the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) in different projects funded by Govt. of India. Her research and teaching experience of over 15 years involves studies on various aspects of plant sciences. Besides being actively involved in research work in the form of funded research projects, Dr. Pant has organized 2 international conferences (with the support of international agencies) and over 16 national-level conferences, seminars, training, and outreach programs. She has also imparted academic consultancies to student-trainees from other institutes including NASI summer trainees. Dr. Pant has more than 70 peer-reviewed research publications in journals national and international, edited books indexed conference proceedings, and five published patents to her credit. Dr. Pant has delivered numerous oral and poster presentations, keynote addresses, and invited talks at national and international scientific events. She has been supervising Ph.D., Undergraduate, and postgraduate students in their research work primarily on plant-related studies. For her work in the field of plant sciences, Dr. Pant has received appreciation in the form of awards from different State and National level bodies.
