He is a Ph.D. from HNB Garhwal University (A Central University) Srinagar, Garhwal, Uttarakhand. He has joined the Department of Mathematics, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) as a Assistant Professor in 2019. He has a vast experience in teaching and research. Before this he has worked as a faculty member for around eight years in different colleges of UPTU and has taught different courses to B.Tech./ BCA/B.Sc./MBA/Ph.D. students.  He has published several research papers in various international journals. His research interests include inventory control, Mathematical modeling, Supply Chain. He has done extensive and illustrious work in these parts and published numerous research papers in the refereed journal.
He is an active reviewer of various refereed journals. He is guiding 4 Ph.D. students. He also authored book entitled “Engineering mathematics for GATE” from Arihant publications and edited 1 book from CRC Press of Taylor & Francis. He is life member of Several international societies.
