Brief Description: A two-day Awareness-cum-Tree Plantation Drive was organized by the Department of Biotechnology for the students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology and B.Sc. (Hons.) Forensic Sciences under the community outreach program. This activity was planned in the villages in Doiwala adopted by the Graphic Era University under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA). The purpose of this drive was to make the students aware of their moral and social responsibilities by sensitizing the local residents about the importance of environmental conservation, the role of trees in maintaining ecological balance, and promoting sustainable living practices. A total of 100 saplings of flowering and fruit bearing plants were planted in schools, parks and residential areas of the villages in collaboration with local residents.
