Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences, Dr. D.P. Singh brings over eight years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His areas of expertise include Physiology, Immunology, and Molecular Biology, with a focus on lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, cancer, and hypoxia biology. His doctoral research explored hypoxic preconditioning for high-altitude acclimatisation, and he has hands-on experience in protein purification and recombinant vaccine testing in rodent models. Dr. Singh has authored over a dozen research papers in reputed national and international journals (SCI & Scopus indexed). He has organised a few conferences and workshops, presented research at numerous academic forums, and participated in more than 30 scientific events. He has been the coordinator of the Biopreneurs Club, an Entrepreneurial Club at Graphic Era. Dr. Singh currently serves as Joint Secretary of the Seabuckthorn Association
