I successfully completed my Ph.D. at Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, where I also earned my M. Tech in Biotechnology. Prior to my postgraduate studies, I graduated with a B.Tech in Biotechnology from the same institution. My research focuses on the extraction and purification of bioactive phytonutrients and their in vitro and in vivo biomedical applications. Over the years, I have published several high-quality research articles and book chapters in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and books. Additionally, I have filed two utility patents related to my research work. With more than four years of academic and research experience, I have contributed significantly to the field of biotechnology.
Previously, I worked as a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Professor at Shoolini University, where I taught courses such as Microbiology, Biosensors, Downstream Processing, Cell and Molecular Biology, Plant and Animal Biotechnology, and Food Biotechnology to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Currently, I am serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Graphic Era University. I continue to teach a range of subjects and mentor students, fostering their intellectual curiosity and academic growth. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications. My research interests include the development of green synthesis methods for nanoparticles and exploring their antimicrobial and antidiabetic properties. I am deeply committed to advancing biotechnological research and actively participate in interdisciplinary collaborations to drive innovation. As a passionate educator and lifelong learner, I strive to stay updated with advancements in the field, aiming to inspire and guide my students toward achieving academic and professional excellence.
