I have obtained a B.Tech. degree in Biotechnology in 2010 from SRM University (Kattankulathur), Chennai, India, and subsequent M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in Nanoscience and Technology from Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India. Following this, I had worked as Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc) at Department of Nanotechnology, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, India for 7.5 years (March 2016 – August 2023). Here, I was involved in teaching different theory and laboratory courses to the students enrolled in M.Tech. programme of the department. Apart from this, I was actively pursuing research in the field of nanobiotechnology, energy and environmental nanotechnology and had guided 22 M.Tech. students for their major project work. I also had funded project from Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. After NEHU, I worked at Saveetha Dental College, SIMATS, Saveetha University, Chennai, India as an Assistant Professor (Research) for about 5 months which was followed by a short stint (4 months) at Department of Biotechnology, NIMS Institute of Allied Medical Science and Technology, NIMS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India as Associate Professor. I have authored several journal articles, book chapters, and one book (edited volume), all published by renowned international publishers.
