Qualified NET, awarded leading patent filer in a current year, awarded for publishing an article with more than 20 IF, outstanding researcher of the department award.

I am working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, Uttrakhand. I am Ph.D. in Biotechnology with specialization in Biosensors having more than 13 years of teaching experience. I have attained M.Tech Biotechnology from Jaypee University of Information Technology after completing Bachelors from the same university. I have also qualified NET in Life Sciences.

My research is focused on the design and development of various electrochemical sensors in disease diagnosis, environment monitoring and food quality management. Additionally, I am also working on the isolation, characterization and remediation of microplastics using nanotechnology. I have managed to publish numerous high-quality research articles and book chapters in reputed SCI and Scopus journals/books. I have also filed more than fifteen utility and design patents related to my research field out of which two are granted. I am a reviewer of various national and international journals.
