Dr. Shraddha Shahane is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She has received her Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi India in 2023. Also, she completed her masters from National Institute of Technology Agartala and bachelors from Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science, Narhe, Pune. Her research areas include Environmental engineering, water and wastewater treatment processes, emerging contaminants, human health risk assessment, nanoagrochemicals and nano-pollution etc. She has published more than 10 research articles in SCI/Scopus indexed journals. She developed two health risk assessment frameworks for nanoagrochemicals. In December 2021, she received the Student Merit Award ($500) from the Society of Risk Analysis (SRA) for the Advanced Materials and Technologies Specialty Group (AMTSG) at an international conference in the USA. She is looking forward to collaborative opportunities to further advance her research.
