The department is well equipped with state of the art infrastructure to support effective teaching-learning activities. The classrooms are fitted with high-Quality Audio Visual Equipment with overhead LCD projectors creating a platform for trainers to deliver high quality and informative lectures and presentations. Students also use the same facility during the presentation of Term Seminars and thereby develop skills that are superlative among their peer groups.
The campus is fully WI-Fi enabled. Wireless and wired internet access is provided through 24*7, 2Gbps internet access. This allows learning to move outside the classroom where you can discuss, learn and grow. It helps to maintain a wire-free campus area with access to the secured internet for students as well as faculty. All course disciplines offer IT applications as a part of their curriculum. The widespread access points allow for hassle-free internet in libraries, labs and in your favorite hideaways in the campus. All the devices are MAC bound for enhanced security. The department has a very well stocked library.
The nerve center of the department of Computer Application is computer network, the university has 12 servers Windows server IBM Intel Xeon Dual Processor, Internet Server HP Quad core Xeon Processor e 530, IBM AIX Server RISK Processor, MSDN Server IBM Intel P-IV 3.0 Processor, Sim Server HCL Xeon Dual Processor, Linux Server HP Xeon Dual Processor, HP Proliant 350 Server Quad Core Intel Xeon E5504, HP Server ML110 G7, IBM eServer, SERVER IBM x3300 M4 processor on the network and 2500 nodes spread over 25 computer laboratories all the computers are connected to the LAN and the entire Network is protected by a Harware fire wall using CYBEROAM 1500i. All the computer labs are fitted with LCD projectors and have a great ambiance. Certain computer labs are specialized and are in tune with research grades, CAD/CAM lab, VLSI CADENCE SUITE Lab, High-Performance Computing Lab, Cloud Computing Lab. IBM AIX Lab, Geographic Information System Lab.
