He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, and earned his M.Tech degree from the School of Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. With extensive experience in both academia and industry, he has contributed significantly to teaching and research. He has served as a faculty member for over 11 years, alongside more than 3 years in the industry. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era University, Dehradun. Previously, he held the role of Senior Chief Engineer at the Samsung Research Institute in Bangalore. Before joining Samsung Research, he held a position of assistant professor at Institute of National Importance, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad. Additionally, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani). Furthermore, he conducted research on recommendation systems using microblogs for IBM Watson labs at IBM Bangalore for a year. His research interests primarily lie in deep learning, machine learning and training large neural networks.
