Dr. MOHAMMAD WAZID has received his Master of Technology in Computer Network Engineering from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India. He has also received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, India. He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India. He is the head of the cybersecurity and IoT research group at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India. Prior to this, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, Manipal, India. He was also a postdoctoral researcher in the cyber security and networks lab, at Innopolis University, Innopolis, Russia. His current research interests include cyber security, machine learning security, Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain. He has published more than 170 papers in international journals and conferences in the above areas. He was a recipient of the University Gold Medal and the Young Scientist Award from UCOST, the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Uttarakhand, India. He has achieved over 10000 Google Scholar citations for his conducted research works. He obtained the granting of six patents and the publishing of an additional thirteen patents. He is a senior member of IEEE. He is the editorial board member of prestigious journals like, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, Security and Privacy (Wiley) Journal and IET Communications Journal.
