Critical Care is an essential branch of healthcare that focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing critical health problems and diseases.

The program combines a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge with extensive hands-on clinical training. Students will be well-versed in optical sciences, visual optics, ocular diseases, and binocular vision. They will also be trained in contact lens fitting, low vision care, and the diagnosis and treatment of conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. The curriculum is structured to offer a balance between classroom learning and practical experience, ensuring students are well-prepared to provide primary eye care services, detect serious eye diseases, and promote overall vision health.

A key feature of the B.Sc. Critical Care is the mandatory one-year internship.
