Dr. Akash Kumar Bhoi is an accomplished academic and researcher with over a decade of international experience spanning India, Italy, Australia, and South Korea. His expertise lies in Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Biomedical Computing.

He has been ranked among the Top 0.5% of Scholars worldwide (ScholarGPS, 2024 & 2025) and listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford University & Elsevier, 2022, 2023 & 2025). A prolific contributor with 200+ Scopus-indexed publications, over 6,000 citations (Google Scholar h-index: 41; Scopus h-index: 31), and several edited volumes with Springer and Elsevier, Dr. Bhoi’s research encompasses computational intelligence, data analytics, healthcare informatics, biomedical signal and image processing, cloud/edge computing, and IoT applications.

He is currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun.
