Saumyata Joshi is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. A scholar of English Literature, she has completed her bachelors and Masters in literature from the University of Delhi. Her M.Phil. research area includes food studies and exploration of experiences of widowhood through the lens of kitchen-centred politics. She is currently also a doctoral candidate at the Department of English and Cultural Studies, Panjab University. Her interests include graphic narratives, popular literature and politics of postcoloniality, among other areas. In her free time, she dabbles in philosophy and explores the relationship between art/literature and flowing life.
