The International Credit Transfer Program (ICTP) offered by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is designed to foster global exposure, cultural exchange, and academic collaboration, allowing students to broaden their educational experience beyond national borders. Students benefit from global teaching methodologies, interdisciplinary academic settings, and exposure to diverse cultural and social perspectives. These experiences deepen their understanding of core areas such as psychology, sociology, literature, political science, communication studies, and philosophy. Eligibility is typically based on academic performance and language proficiency.
Participating in ICTP significantly enhances a student’s academic and professional profile. It cultivates adaptability, intercultural competence, critical thinking, and effective communication—skills highly valued in careers related to education, public policy, journalism, international relations, development studies, and research. The program also opens doors to international internships, collaborative academic projects, and postgraduate opportunities. Overall, ICTP is a transformative platform that prepares Humanities and Social Sciences students to contribute meaningfully to a globally interconnected world.
