Dr. Ajay Kumar Pandey is a seasoned academic leader who brings over 22 years of multifaceted experience spanning industry and academia. An alumnus of premier institutions such as NITs, IIM Indore, and Symbiosis International University, Pune, he has held senior management roles across top NIRF-ranked business schools, central government PSUs, and corporate enterprises.
Having transitioned from industry to academia, Dr. Pandey has been instrumental in mission-driven initiatives, institution-building, and fostering transformative education. His academic contributions encompass Management Development Programs (MDPs), consultancy assignments, impactful teaching, research, and strategic campus leadership.
In the corporate domain, he played foundational roles at L&T Power Development Limited and served as the founding head of the Tendering Department at Inox Wind Limited. He also had an extensive tenure with NHPC, a premier central government PSU in the power sector.
In academia, Dr. Pandey has taught at leading institutions including FORE School of Management New Delhi, Bharathidasan Institute of Management Trichy, IMT Ghaziabad, and NIT Allahabad. His research is widely published in reputed international journals indexed in ABDC, Scopus, and Web of Science.
Notably, he represented India as part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) delegations to Nepal in 2012 and 2013, engaging with then Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai on strategic power sector collaborations. He is also the co-founder of Change I Network, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities.
