Dr. Narendra Gariya is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India. Currently, he is working on the design and development of bio-inspired soft actuators and soft sensors for industrial and medical applications. Also, he is working on natural-fiber reinforced composites for industrial applications. Additionally, he have 09 granted patents (01 Innovation Patent, 04 Utility Patents, and 04 Industrial Design Patents), 15 published patents, and 39 peer-reviewed SCI/SCOPUS papers. Prior to teaching, he worked as a Quality Control Engineer and Design and Development Engineer (From August 2014 to January 2016), Prevail Casting Pvt. Ltd. Rajkot, Gujarat.
