Mr. Vikrant Singh serves as an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University). He obtained his B.E, M.Tech., and Ph.D. (Thesis Submitted), in Mechanical Engineering from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal, Punjab. His major research interests include slurry and cavitation erosion, surface engineering, thermal spray & hydrophobic coatings, cryogenic treatments, additive manufacturing, wear, and material processing and characterization. He has published 43 SCI/SCIE papers in international journals of repute with 299 citations and an H-index of 11. He is open to collaboration with researchers who can work in the field of surface engineering, tribology, laser cladding, corrosion etc., and also for the interdisciplinary work related to antifungal properties of metals and artificial intelligence.
