Mr Yatharth Joshi is working as a Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun India. With a diverse background encompassing sports, cultural pursuits, and social activism, Mr. Joshi’s early years saw him excel as a national athlete in Taekwondo and Table Tennis. Notably, he showcased his artistic talents on national television, performing before the esteemed dance guru Saroj Khan in 2009. Additionally, Mr. Joshi received formal training in acting from mentors affiliated with the National School of Drama. His innovative spirit culminated in the establishment of two world records: for crafting the World’s Largest Paper Mache Sculpture and the World’s Largest Waste Paper Ball. Recently, he provided mentorship to students on a major project, resulting in the publication and granting of several patents. Presently, Mr. Joshi fulfils the role of faculty coordinator for two student clubs: Papertech, the Art and Craft club, and Rangmanch, the theatre society, both at GEU. Furthermore, Mr. Joshi leads a government of India recognized startup project focusing on circular economy and sustainable development, under the auspices of the Technology Business Incubator at GEU. His multifaceted contributions underscore a commitment to excellence and innovation within academia and entrepreneurial endeavours.
