Dr. Sanjeev Kimothi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University, where he rejoined in 2023. With over 20 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Kimothi specializes in experimental and theoretical modeling in Atmospheric Science and Environmental Radiation. His research encompasses Nuclear Physics, environmentally sustainable materials, and the study of natural radiation, including radon, thoron, and their progenies under varying geological stress conditions. Dr. Kimothi has successfully managed research projects funded by esteemed organizations such as BARC, ISRO, UCOST, and USERC. He has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed articles in renowned national and international journals, holds 12 patents, and is supervising two Ph.D. candidates. Beyond research, he actively contributes to academia by organizing conferences, delivering guest lectures at workshops and conferences, reviewing articles for Scopus-indexed journals, and serving as an assistant editor for SCI/peer-reviewed journals.
