    Admission Procedure

    Admission to the M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering is based on entrance examination and merit performance, in accordance with university norms. Applicants can apply through the online application portal available on the university’s official website.

    Selection will typically be based on:

    • GATE scores (preferred, but not mandatory).
    • Performance in qualifying degree (B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc./MBBS/BDS/B.Pharma).
    • University-level entrance exam or interview (where applicable).

    Provisional Admission

    Provisional admission may be granted to candidates who are awaiting the results of their qualifying exam, if they submit their final grade reports prior to the start of the academic year. This guarantees that worthy candidates won’t be denied the chance because of delayed results.

    Eligibility Criteria

    B.Tech./B.E. in relevant engineering fields (Biomedical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Metallurgy and Material Science), or an M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Physics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, and related sciences. MBBS, BDS, B.Pharma, and related disciplines are also eligible. Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in their qualifying examination.
