Dr. Rituraj Patwal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India. He received his B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University in 2012, the M.Tech degree in Power Systems from Thapar University in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree from Thapar University in 2021. His research interests include power system optimization, renewable energy integration, hydrothermal and solar-integrated power system scheduling, smart grid technologies, intelligent energy management systems, and nature-inspired metaheuristic optimization algorithms. He has published research papers in more than ten high–impact factor international journals, including Energy Conversion and Management and Renewable Energy, among other reputed SCI-indexed journals. He has also contributed book chapters in the areas of clean energy systems and sustainable power generation. He regularly participates in faculty development programs and academic training initiatives related to grid resilience, adaptive control, digitalization of energy systems, and sustainable energy planning. His academic and research work focuses on advancing reliable, efficient, and low-carbon power systems in line with national and global sustainability objectives.
