Dr. Adhirath Mandal serves as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), where his passion for teaching and groundbreaking research coalesce to forge advancements in mechanical engineering. With a dedication that transcends conventional boundaries, He work is at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions, particularly within internal combustion (IC) engines, and the development of upper limb exoskeletons.
Embarking on his academic journey, Dr. Mandal secured a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production Engineering) from Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), laying the groundwork for his future endeavors. His quest for knowledge propelled him to Kongju National University, South Korea, where he completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in August 2022. This period marked the cultivation of his expertise and research acumen. He enriched the academic landscape with five years of teaching at the university level, demonstrating an innate ability to mentor and inspire both undergraduate and graduate students. His tenure as an educator was characterized by a commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment, thereby influencing countless students’ educational and professional trajectories.
Dr. Mandal’s research interests navigate the intersections of biofuels in IC engines and the synergy between robotics and ergonomics, epitomizing the confluence of sustainability and technology. His scholarship is underscored by significant contributions to the body of knowledge in mechanical engineering, including authorship of 5 SCI-indexed and 13 Scopus-indexed journal articles. Moreover, his insights and findings have been shared with the global academic community through participation in over 19 international conferences, highlighting his role as a thought leader in his field. Throughout his 6.5 years of combined research and teaching experience. He remains dedicated to exploring new horizons in mechanical engineering research. His ongoing endeavors aim not only to advance scientific understanding but also to contribute tangible solutions to global energy and ergonomic challenges.
