Dr. Dipesh Kumar Mishra is working as an Assistant Professor in Center for Advanced Studies. He has completed his Ph.D. in the field of Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (in 2021). During his Ph.D., he has performed experimental and analytical studies on fabrication of metallic bio-degradable scaffolds using micro- extrusion-based 3D printing and pressure less microwave sintering. He has published his work in more than 6 peer-reviewed SCI journals of high repute including Material Science and Engineering-A, Polymer composite, and Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part B: Applied Biomaterials, etc. Further, he has also published his work in International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference, (Organized by ASME in University of Cincinnati, OH, USA). Moreover, he has been granted one Indian Patent (No: 371607) for the development of processing route for the manufacturing of porous biodegradable metal scaffolds.
In M.Tech, he has performed experimental studies on Thermomechanical processing of API X-60 grade Pipeline steel. A joint venture project of Tata Steel, Jamshedpur and NIT, Rourkela. He is a reviewer of Journal of Biomaterials Application (Sage Journals) and Materials Today proceeding (Elsevier Journals).
