Dr. Anju Saini currently holds the esteemed position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Graphic Era Deemed to be University in Dehradun. With a cumulative teaching and research experience, including her Postdoctoral Fellowship, spanning an impressive nine years, she has made significant contributions to the field of mathematics. Her academic journey includes a three-year tenure as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. The postdoctoral Fellowship was awarded by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), under the Department of Atomic Energy. Dr. Saini’s educational background comprises a PhD and a Post Graduate Degree in Applied Mathematics, both earned at IIT Roorkee.
Dr. Saini’s primary research focus lies in Mathematical Modeling and Biomechanics, and she has garnered international recognition for her work. Notably, she received the Abel Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow Award in 2015, leading her to undertake research at Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK.
Her scholarly impact is evident through numerous publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Saini actively participates in National and International Conferences, where she has showcased her research in various countries, including Singapore, Poland, Italy, Bonn Germany, Georgia, China, UK, Mainz Germany, and Japan. Acknowledging her academic prowess, Dr. Saini has been honored with the INSA Visiting Scientist Award twice, in 2020 and 2023. Additionally, she has taken on leadership roles by organizing numerous National and International conferences and Faculty Development Programs (FDP) within her institute.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr. Saini is deeply engaged in professional organizations. She is a Life Member of esteemed societies.
Dr. Saini’s commitment to the academic community extends to her roles as a Session Chair, Member of Scientific Committees, and member of Technical Program Committees for various international conferences. She actively contributes as a Reviewer for esteemed journal societies including Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis, reflecting her dedication to advancing research in the field of mathematics.
