Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) is committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating sustainability into education, research, campus operations, and community engagement. The University recognizes that higher education institutions play a vital role in shaping responsible leaders, driving innovation, and addressing global challenges such as climate change, poverty, inequality, and sustainable economic growth.

Viksit Bharat Abhiyan

Viksit Bharat Abhiyan is a national initiative by the Government of India aimed at transforming the country into a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of independence. It focuses on inclusive growth, sustainable development, and active citizen participation.

The campaign encourages people, especially youth, to contribute ideas and take part in nation-building. It highlights key areas such as quality education, digital empowerment, economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social equity.

Alankrit, The Cultural Society

Alankrit, aims to promote creativity, talent, and learning among students, while also nurturing the true essence of culture. The society provides a platform for students to showcase their cultural and artistic abilities, and to foster an everlasting bond between learning, experimentation, and academia. The club has organized various events, including Inquizition, Jhankaar – Intra University Cultural Dance Competition, and Project Pahal – a donation drive to help underprivileged children.

Kavyanjali - Literary Club

India's literary heritage is among the richest in the world, and Hindi occupies a central position in this tradition. With roots stretching from ancient poetic traditions to the revolutionary writings of modern times, Hindi literature is a living legacy that shapes identity, culture, and thought.

To honor and nurture this tradition, Kavyanjali, the official Hindi Literature Club of Graphic Era (Deemed to be University).

Papertech- Art & Craft

Papertech is the vibrant art and decoration club of Graphic Era Deemed to be University, dedicated to nurturing creativity, imagination, and teamwork among students. The club provides a dynamic platform for young artists and craft enthusiasts to express their creative side through innovative decorations, handmade art pieces, thematic installations, and event designing. Papertech plays a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic spirit of the campus by managing and executing all major decoration work for college events.

Debsoc - Debating Society

The Debating Society of Graphic Era Deemed to be University (DebSoc), established in 2019, exemplifies the pursuit of intellectual excellence through structured dialogue and eloquent expression. Debating develops critical thinking, clear expression of ideas, and confidence.

Since its inception, DebSoc has organized a range of National, Inter-University, and IntraUniversity events, including Word War (National Debating League), Baat-cheet (Bilingual Speech Series), Charcha & Vitark (Group Discussions), Spellathon (Spelling Competition), Debathon & Aarambh (Flagship Debating Events), Mock Parliaments, Interviews & Workshops, and Society Interaction Meetings.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) club is a Social Voluntary Scheme for students at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), which aims to instil values of empathy, social responsibility, and leadership in students.

The club promotes social welfare and community development through various projects and activities. It does everything from organising Blood donation camps twice a year to being highly active in conducting cleanliness drives in the public interest. With perseverance and hard work, the club bagged the Swachhta Champion Award in 2023 from Nagar Nigam.

The Humanitarian Club

The Humanitarian Club of Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) aims to sensitize youth and encourage selfless service through Nishkam Seva under the guidance of Dr. Stuti Saxena, Department of Humanities, GEU. The club works on 5 ‘S’ initiatives: SIKSHA & SASHAKTIKARAN (providing education and value inculcation to underprivileged children), SANGRAKSHAN (planet conservation), SWABHIMAN (breaking menstruation taboo), and SURAKSHA (safety and animal welfare). The team from many of its initiatives secures reflective collars for street dogs, organizes literacy and self-defense workshops, and schedules cleanliness and plantation drives in the city.

Swaragini is the Inter-University Dance and Music Society of Graphic Era University, dedicated to celebrating cultural harmony through music, dance, and artistic expression. Guided by its motto, “नभः स्पर्शंदीप्ततम्” – To Touch the Sky with Glory,” the society strives to inspire excellence, confidence, and creativity among students.

Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)

GEU’s Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a non-profit organization that aims to collect and exchange technical knowledge related to oil and gas exploration, development, and production. It provides students with exposure through various events, workshops, and guest lectures.

SPE Student Chapter has won consecutive Gold Standard Awards from ‘SPE International’ for its exceptional performance in membership, planning, education, professionalism, service, support, and fundraising. The mission is to connect a global community of energy professionals to advance their technical competence and achieve a safe and sustainable energy future.

Rangmanch

Rangmanch is the official dramatics and performing arts society of Graphic Era (Deemed to be University). It serves as a dynamic platform for students who are passionate about theatre, dance, and music, providing them with opportunities to explore, express, and refine their artistic talents.

The society plays a vital role in enriching the cultural environment of the university by organising performances, participating in competitions, and contributing to major campus events.

Youth Parliament Society

The Youth Parliament Society (YPS), the central society of the Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), was founded by Mr. Shubhraj Choudhary and Mr. Mohd. Arshil under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Prabha Lama. Supported by faculty coordinators—Dr. Bharti Sharma, Dr. Gaurav Dimri, Dr. Ankita Jakhmola, and Dr. Rajkumar Singh. The society operates across Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) and Graphic Era Hill University campuses.

YPS aims to foster political awareness, leadership, and critical thinking among students through National Youth Parliaments, Model United Nations, and policy discussions. It has earned recognition for organizing events like Lokneeti 2024 and achievements in national platforms.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is India’s largest and most dynamic youth organization, shaping students into disciplined, confident and responsible citizens of the nation. Established in 1948, NCC has grown into a nationwide uniformed force of young leaders who carry the spirit of "Unity and Discipline" with pride.

NCC operates through a three-tier structure – Army, Navy, and Air Wing – with Directorates across all states. The Corps is headed by a Director General, an Army Officer of the rank of Lieutenant General, who is responsible for the functioning of the National Cadet Corps in the country through the parade. National Cadet Corps Headquarters situated at Delhi.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)

Envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal work, 'Hind Swaraj,' the Western developmental paradigm, grounded in centralized technologies and urbanization, has engendered pressing challenges such as burgeoning inequality (resulting in crime and violence) and climate change due to rapid ecological degradation.

Addressing these issues requires the fostering of rural development in harmony with Gandhi's vision of self-sufficient 'village republics,' utilizing local resources and deploying decentralized, eco-friendly technologies. This approach aims to locally meet essential needs like food, clothing, shelter, sanitation, healthcare, energy, livelihood, transportation, and education.

GEUMUN is a student-led academic society at Graphic Era University that unites individuals driven by intellectual curiosity, global awareness, and a desire for meaningful engagement. Members do not merely deliberate on international and national issues; they assume the roles of decision-makers, engage with complex realities, and gain first-hand insight into the mechanics of leadership.

Shan-Manah (शनमनः) is founded with the vision “Harmony of Being, Harmony of Mind.” We believe that psychology is important for comprehending the connection between the human brain and behavior. This inception report outlines the club’s vision, mission, objectives, and organizational framework. It is intended to serve as the foundational document guiding the club’s formation and future activities.
