About The Program

The BCA (Hons.) program is a three-year undergraduate program divided into six semesters, with provision for Honors/Research track in the seventh and eighth semesters. The program introduces students to core areas of computer science including programming, database management, web technologies, computer networks, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and data science. It is designed to prepare students for careers in IT, software development, and research, as well as higher studies such as MCA and M.S.

With the increasing role of IT across all sectors, the BCA program prepares graduates for employability in diverse domains such as software development, web and mobile applications, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. In addition, the program encourages innovation and entrepreneurship by providing an ecosystem for developing problem-solving skills and business ideas.
