About The Program

The Master of Science (Information Technology) (M.Sc. IT) is a two-year postgraduate program designed to provide advanced knowledge in core areas of computing along with specialized skills in modern IT applications.

The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects including full-stack development, computer networks, operating systems, database management systems, data structures, Java and Python programming, mobile application development, software engineering, data science using R, and cloud technologies.

The program also integrates minor streams such as Machine Learning, DevOps, Natural Language Processing, and Cloud Security, along with multidisciplinary courses like Research Methodology, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, and Personal Finance. Students are trained through hands-on laboratory work, mini-projects, internships, research seminars, and a major project, ensuring experiential learning and professional readiness.

The M.Sc. IT program equips graduates with the ability to take on roles such as software developer, IT consultant, cloud engineer, data analyst, cyber security specialist, researcher, or academician.
