The Department of Biotechnology, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), established in 2008 offers a comprehensive 4 years B. Tech program in Biotechnology with specialization in Sustainable Sciences, Computational Biology, Synthetic Biology alongwith multidisciplinary minors.

Recently, the department has taken initiative to start M.Tech Biotechnology program with effect from Academic year 2026-27 onwards. In addition, the department also offers PhD in Biotechnology.
