Dr. Avinash works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University). He
successfully
completed his Ph.D. from Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, where he also earned his M.Tech in
Biotechnology. Prior to his postgraduate studies, he completed his B.Tech in Biotechnology from the same
institution.
His research focuses on the extraction and purification of bioactive phytonutrients and their in vitro and in vivo
biomedical applications. Over the years, he has published several high-quality research articles and book chapters
in
reputed SCI- and Scopus-indexed journals and books. In addition, he has filed two utility patents related to his
research work, highlighting the innovative aspects of his contributions. With more than four years of academic and
research experience, he has made significant contributions to the field of biotechnology.
Previously, he served as a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Professor at Shoolini University, where he taught a wide
range of subjects including Microbiology, Biosensors, Downstream Processing, Cell and Molecular Biology, Plant and
Animal Biotechnology, and Food Biotechnology to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Currently, at Graphic
Era
University, he continues to teach diverse biotechnology courses and actively mentors students, fostering their
intellectual curiosity and academic growth.
His teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, integrating theoretical
concepts with practical applications. His research interests also include the green synthesis of nanoparticles and
the
exploration of their antimicrobial and antidiabetic properties. He is deeply committed to advancing biotechnological
research and actively participates in interdisciplinary collaborations to drive innovation. As a passionate educator
and
lifelong learner, he continually updates himself with emerging advancements in the field, striving to inspire and
guide
students toward academic and professional excellence.
