Assistant Professor Biotechnology
Dr. Joshi’s research focuses on the interdisciplinary field, integrating principles from the physical, chemical, and biological sciences to address fundamental questions in protein science. Her doctoral work was centered on single-molecule biophysics and mechanobiology, with a particular focus on elucidating the role of interdomain linkers in multidomain proteins. She has extensive expertise in single-molecule manipulation techniques, including atomic force microscopy (AFM) and magnetic tweezers (MT), complemented by a strong foundation in biochemical and biophysical methods such as recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization. As a teaching assistant at IISER Mohali, she supported undergraduate laboratory courses focused on spectroscopy techniques. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
