Er. Prateek Gururani is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Graphic Era
(Deemed to be University), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He holds an M.Tech. degree with specialization in Food and
Bioprocess Engineering from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology.
His major research interests encompass algal biorefinery, wastewater treatment, and algal nutraceuticals, with a
strong
focus on sustainable bioprocessing and value-added bioresource utilization. He has published more than 55 research
and
review articles in several highly reputed international journals, including Fuel, Trends in Food Science and
Technology,
Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, and Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery, among others. In addition,
he
has three Indian patents published to his credit.
Er. Prateek Gururani has also made significant contributions to the academic community through his service as a
review
editor and peer reviewer for reputed journals such as the Journal of Water Process Engineering, Biomass Conversion
and
Biorefinery, Fuel, Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics, and Heliyon. His academic and research endeavors reflect
