India's literary heritage is among the richest in the world, and Hindi occupies a central position in this tradition. With roots stretching from ancient poetic traditions to the revolutionary writings of modern times, Hindi literature is a living legacy that shapes identity, culture, and thought.
To honor and nurture this tradition, Kavyanjali, the official Hindi Literature Club of Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), was established on 3rd March, 2020. It aspires to create a vibrant literary space where students can explore, express, and evolve through the medium of Hindi literature. The club’s motto, “प्रज्ञानम् ब्रह्म” (Pragyanam Brahma), reflects our belief that knowledge and awareness are the highest expressions of being.

Hindi Pakhwara stands as one of the most prestigious and identity-defining flagship initiatives of Kavyanjali. Organized annually over a period of two weeks on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, this extensive literary and cultural festival is dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and celebration of the Hindi language. The event aims to cultivate linguistic pride, cultural awareness, and creative expression among students, while also providing them with a platform to engage deeply with Hindi literature in its diverse forms.
Throughout the two-week duration, Hindi Pakhwara hosted a wide spectrum of thoughtfully curated activities designed to cater to varied literary interests and talents. These activities included the Inaugural Ceremony and Hindi Shloka Recitation, which set a scholarly and cultural tone for the festival; Poster and Rangoli Competitions, encouraging visual interpretation of linguistic themes; Creative Writing sessions that nurtured originality and imagination; Speech Competitions and Poetry Recitations that enhanced oratory and performative skills; Culinary Activities highlighting cultural diversity through traditional food; and a range of interactive and recreational events that ensured inclusive participation.
Additional highlights included the Hindi Diwas Celebration, Mono Acting, Folktale Narration, Idioms and Quiz Competitions, and specialized Workshops aimed at skill development. A significant intellectual dimension was added through Book Review sessions and Author Interaction, where students engaged directly with a renowned Hindi poet, gaining valuable insights into literary creation and contemporary Hindi literature.
The festival culminated in “Tooryanad”, the grand closing ceremony of the Hindi Mahotsav. This concluding event symbolized the collective achievement of the fortnight, celebrating participation, creativity, and cultural unity, while reinforcing the enduring relevance of Hindi in modern academic and social contexts.

Kavyanjali has actively organized and participated in various in-campus and inter-university events, of which the following represent the major highlights of the last one year.

Organized on the occasion of World Hindi Day (Vishv Hindi Diwas), the Vishv Hindi Gaurav Sammelan functioned as an intellectually enriching forum focused on the evolving status of Hindi as a national language. The event addressed critical concerns such as the growing dominance of foreign languages in academic and professional spheres and the gradual erosion of linguistic pride. Through insightful discussions, expert perspectives, and interactive sessions, the Sammelan inspired students to reconnect with their linguistic heritage and actively contribute to the preservation and promotion of Hindi language and culture.

This inter-university event marked a significant milestone for Kavyanjali, enhancing its recognition beyond the campus. The competition promoted literary excellence, inter-institutional collaboration, and active engagement with Hindi poetic traditions.

Kavyadhaara was organized as a Kavi Sammelan and interactive session featuring a renowned poet.
The event provided students with an enriching opportunity to engage with contemporary Hindi poetry and literary thought. Through poetic recitations and dialogue, participants gained valuable insights into creative expression and poetic discipline.

Kavyanchal is a continuous literary initiative organized every Saturday, offering students a consistent platform to share poetry, storytelling, and spoken word performances. These weekly gatherings have nurtured a vibrant literary culture, encouraged self-expression, and strengthened peer learning within the campus.

The Hindi Pakhwara emerged as one of the most impactful in-campus events of the year, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across departments. Through its diverse activities, the event successfully reinforced the relevance of Hindi language and literature while fostering creativity, inclusivity, and cultural consciousness.
