Papertech

Papertech is the vibrant art and decoration club of Graphic Era Deemed to be University, dedicated to nurturing creativity, imagination, and teamwork among students.

The club provides a dynamic platform for young artists and craft enthusiasts to express their creative side through innovative decorations, handmade art pieces, thematic installations, and event designing. Papertech plays a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic spirit of the campus by managing and executing all major decoration work for college events.

One of the club’s main highlights is its grand celebrations of Dussehra and Accolade, where members work tirelessly to design eye-catching stage setups, artistic backdrops, and creative displays that leave a lasting impression. Every year, Papertech conducts and contributes to various events, encouraging members to bring fresh ideas and experiment with new artistic concepts. Through collaborative planning and execution, students learn the value of teamwork, discipline, and time management.

Working together on large-scale projects helps members build strong coordination skills, leadership qualities, and self-confidence. Senior members guide juniors, ensuring knowledge sharing and a supportive environment where everyone gets an opportunity to learn and grow. By blending art with responsibility, Papertech not only beautifies campus events but also shapes confident, creative, and disciplined individuals ready to take on future challenges.

Objectives of Kavyanjali

Events

Dusshera

The Dussehra event organized by Papertech is one of the most awaited and grand celebrations on campus. Every year, all the members of the club come together to create a huge Ravana effigy, a process that takes nearly 5–6 days of continuous hard work, creativity, and teamwork. From designing the structure to adding detailed artistic touches, each member contributes with dedication to make the effigy impressive and meaningful. This grand creation not only adds excitement to the celebration but also helps children and students understand the significance of the Dussehra festival and the victory of good over evil. Papertech’s remarkable effort was even recognized with a cash prize of ₹51,000 for creating an exceptionally large Ravana. The entire college gathers to witness the celebration, making it a joyful and unforgettable event for everyone.

Accolade

Accolade is one of the most exciting and vibrant events organized by Papertech, bringing together talent, creativity, and fun on one grand platform. It features a wide range of activities where students actively participate and showcase their skills. From solo and group singing and dance performances to energetic games like gully cricket, tug of war, and treasure hunt, Accolade creates an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and team spirit. The event also highlights artistic talents through competitions such as mehndi, crochet, clay art, sketching, painting, and digital poster making. Accolade is not just a competition but a celebration of creativity, passion, and unity, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Doodling

Doodling Art is one of the most fun and engaging activities conducted during Papertech meetings. In this creative activity, members design unique doodle artworks while cleverly hiding their names within the patterns and illustrations. It becomes an exciting challenge for others to find the hidden names, making the session both interactive and entertaining. This activity not only enhances creativity and imagination but also encourages members to think in innovative ways. Doodling sessions also provide a comfortable space for juniors and seniors to interact, communicate, and know each other better. Through such informal and enjoyable activities, members build stronger connections, share ideas, and feel more connected as a team. Overall, Doodling Art adds fun, creativity, and bonding to every Papertech meeting.

Kirigami

Papertech Club recently organized a creative and interactive Kirigami Art Class that brought juniors and seniors together for a fun and inspiring experience. The session began with a short introduction to the basics of kirigami, explaining how simple paper folding and cutting techniques can transform ordinary sheets into beautiful designs. Seniors patiently guided the juniors step-by-step, helping them create patterns like flowers, butterflies, and decorative cards.

The class was filled with laughter, teamwork, and creativity as everyone experimented with different shapes and ideas. A small fun challenge was also conducted where mixed teams of juniors and seniors designed unique kirigami artworks within a time limit. This activity not only enhanced artistic skills but also strengthened bonding, communication, and collaboration among members, making the session both educational and memorable for everyone involved.

The Four Statues

The Papertech Club proudly showcased its creativity and social responsibility by crafting four inspiring statues using biodegradable materials and waste paper. The club members beautifully designed statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, highlighting their immense contribution to the nation. Each statue was carefully shaped with layers of recycled paper, promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.

Recently, the club also created a remarkable statue of Swami Vivekananda using the same ecofriendly materials. This initiative not only reflected artistic talent but also spread a strong message about recycling and respecting great leaders. Through this meaningful activity, Papertech combined creativity with environmental consciousness, inspiring students to value both heritage and sustainability

Poster- Making

Papertech Club recently organized an exciting poster-making competition that brought together students from across the college, creating a vibrant and creative atmosphere on campus. The event encouraged participants to express their ideas, thoughts, and artistic skills through colorful and meaningful posters. Students from different departments enthusiastically took part, showcasing their unique talents and innovative concepts. The competition not only highlighted creativity but also provided a wonderful platform for students to interact, collaborate, and build new connections.

As participants discussed themes and shared ideas, the event strengthened unity and teamwork within the college community. The lively environment, filled with art supplies and imaginative designs, made the competition both engaging and inspiring. Through this initiative, Papertech Club successfully promoted creativity, confidence, and bonding among students, making it a memorable and impactful experience for everyone involved.

Grafest

Papertech Club plays a vital role in making GreaFest, the grand fest of Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), a visually stunning and memorable event. From creative crafting to magnificent stage decorations, the entire decorative setup is thoughtfully designed and executed by the dedicated members of the club. Weeks before the fest, the team works tirelessly to conceptualize unique themes, prepare handmade props, and transform simple materials into eye-catching art pieces. The stage backdrop, entrance décor, photo booths, and artistic installations are all crafted with precision and creativity, adding charm and energy to the celebration. Their teamwork and innovative ideas not only enhance the festive atmosphere but also showcase the artistic talent of the students. Through their hard work and passion, Papertech Club significantly contributes to the success and grandeur of GreaFest, making it a proud highlight of the college.

Vishv Hindi Gaurav Sammelan

Organized on the occasion of World Hindi Day (Vishv Hindi Diwas), the Vishv Hindi Gaurav Sammelan functioned as an intellectually enriching forum focused on the evolving status of Hindi as a national language. The event addressed critical concerns such as the growing dominance of foreign languages in academic and professional spheres and the gradual erosion of linguistic pride. Through insightful discussions, expert perspectives, and interactive sessions, the Sammelan inspired students to reconnect with their linguistic heritage and actively contribute to the preservation and promotion of Hindi language and culture.

This inter-university event marked a significant milestone for Kavyanjali, enhancing its recognition beyond the campus. The competition promoted literary excellence, inter-institutional collaboration, and active engagement with Hindi poetic traditions.

Kavyadhaara was organized as a Kavi Sammelan and interactive session featuring a renowned poet.

The event provided students with an enriching opportunity to engage with contemporary Hindi poetry and literary thought. Through poetic recitations and dialogue, participants gained valuable insights into creative expression and poetic discipline.

Kavyanchal is a continuous literary initiative organized every Saturday, offering students a consistent platform to share poetry, storytelling, and spoken word performances. These weekly gatherings have nurtured a vibrant literary culture, encouraged self-expression, and strengthened peer learning within the campus.

The Hindi Pakhwara emerged as one of the most impactful in-campus events of the year, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across departments.
