GEU

Think Global. Speak Confidently. Lead Responsibly.

Welcome to GEUMUN, a forum where ideas are cultivated with intent, voices are articulated with confidence, and students evolve into conscientious leaders.

GEUMUN is a student-led academic society at Graphic Era University that unites individuals driven by intellectual curiosity, global awareness, and a desire for meaningful engagement. Members do not merely deliberate on international and national issues; they assume the roles of decision-makers, engage with complex realities, and gain first-hand insight into the mechanics of leadership.

Since its establishment in October 2023, GEUMUN has developed into a vibrant academic and experiential platform that fosters informed dialogue, analytical rigour, and responsible leadership. While maintaining academic excellence, the society remains accessible and inclusive, ensuring a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced participants alike.

At GEUMUN, perspectives are refined, confidence is cultivated, and leadership is consciously shaped.

What Defines GEUMUN

What Defines GEUMUN

GEUMUN operates at the confluence of intellectual inquiry, articulate expression, and principled leadership. It enables students to transcend conventional academic boundaries and engage critically with contemporary global and national concerns.

  • A student-centric and inclusive ethos
  • Emphasis on clear articulation, analytical reasoning, and confidence-building
  • Exposure to national-level academic and deliberative platforms
  • Leadership roles rooted in accountability and collaboration
  • Ongoing mentorship and guidance from experienced faculty

The environment is intentionally stimulating yet supportive, allowing students to progress thoughtfully and independently.

Learning Through Experience

GEUMUN conducts simulations of real-world decision-making bodies such as the United Nations, Indian Parliament, policy councils, and crisis committees. These simulations enable students to understand how dialogue informs policy and how leadership functions under real-world constraints.

Through active participation, students develop:

  • Proficiency in public speaking and structured debate
  • Research and policy analysis competence
  • Negotiation and diplomatic engagement skills
  • Leadership and teamwork under pressure
  • Event planning, coordination, and media management abilities

Collectively, these experiences contribute to clarity of thought, precision in expression, and maturity in leadership.
