Shan-Manah (शनमनः) is founded with the vision “Harmony of Being, Harmony of Mind.” We believe that psychology is important for comprehending the connection between the human brain and behavior.

The vision of this club is to foster a community of empathetic, mindful, and innovative individuals who are committed to mental well-being, personal growth, and inclusive, socially aware engagement through the lens of psychology.

Mission

Our mission is to provide a platform where students can explore, engage, and excel in psychology through experiential learning, collaboration, and continuous development so that we can bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Benefits to Students

  • To foster positive behavior, change by educating students about mental health, social skills, and substance abuse prevention.
  • To foster empathy and compassion through experiential learning, knowledge building, awareness and action, reflective practices, and collaborative projects.
  • To foster cross-disciplinary learning. Psychology has a vast application, through the club the students of different courses can also learn and engage in the psychological field.
  • Help raise awareness about mental health issues, and engage in community outreach programs related to psychology as well as make the campus a place that values mental health and well-being.
  • Enriching the students with the knowledge of the psychology discipline and enhancing the fame of the discipline within the college.
