Dr. Amit Srivastava completed his undergraduate studies at IIT Roorkee and obtained his postgraduate and doctoral degrees from IISc Bangalore. He brings over two decades of rich experience spanning teaching, research, industry engagement, and academic administration. While his primary expertise lies in Geotechnical Engineering, his scholarly contributions extend to concrete technology, construction materials, and several other domains of Civil Engineering. He has authored more than 100 publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, including 72 Scopus-indexed and 45 Web of Science-indexed papers. Dr. Srivastava has presented his research at numerous national and international forums and has undertaken academic visits to Italy, France, the UK, and Egypt. He is an active member and fellow of several national and international professional societies. His accolades include three national awards from the Indian Geotechnical Society and an international best paper award from ASCE. He has also led consultancy projects on slope stability, vibration isolation, and deep excavations, and is proficient in advanced geotechnical numerical software. Recently, he authored a book on Soil Mechanics published by HP Hamilton, UK.
